Hey kids,
End of year is fast approaching! I talked earlier in the year about going to the Hunter for a night but having recently looked at rates, I'm thinking it might be a weeee bit expensive, especially as xmas is already spenos enough! However I do think we should make a date for something nice, a dinner, drink or two or four... and no early nights!
Should we do it on the last day of work (as M&J's suprise is now on the Thursday)? Any ideas?

Attention to detail
Learning the art of attention to detail can be tough, but a rewarding experience once you start to see the results (you would have never seen them before because you had no attention to detail)...
On the one hand, you feel much smarter (such a wierd word), but on the other hand, you realise how many little mistakes you make and feel like your intelligence is going down the toilet.
I was once taught some tips on 'making it' in the PR world by the Managing Director of a large international PR agency. He explained that two of the traits are personality driven, you either have it or you don’t the other you can learn.
1. You'll make it if you have a 'go get 'em' personality - if you're alert and on the ball with a 'can do' attitude, people will see that you're keen.
2. Be adaptable - if you can adapt to a situation and use initiative, people will start to trust you more (always a good thing) and rely on you for all tasks great and small.
3. The trait / skill you can learn is, surprise, surprise attention to detail. It's a skill that will take you places. Being sloppy is simply not acceptable. I used to have poor attention to detail but it's something that over time, I've overcome. Reading and re-reading is the key. Initially it might take you a while to re-read everything you've written, but over time, it'll become second nature and you won't even realise you're doing it. Not only will you not realise that you're checking your writing, but you'll also find fewer mistakes.
That's my advice for the day... :)

Hi Everyone!
This is amazing, I have now officially become part of the blogging sensation (about time). I think I am the only one (excluding you Anna & Jess) to not have a MySpace... girls, I think my time has come.
Little bit excited about the weekend. Lady Soverign. I remember when I was in London and she had just dropped out of school to become part of the underground garage scene - now she's on a world tour. Go team.
Little bit sad about the fact that I created a rumour that Groove Armada would come to Australia this year... now they are... and I'm not seeing them. Sad is an understatement, devostated is the word.
The time has come to sign out of my first blog.
